I don't think every occurrence of this happening is the IR's. I just found it curious that the TV turned on when they swept the camera with the IR's past the TV it came on. I am trying to make it happen here this afternoon on several TV's.

no luck on the IR  turning the TV on so far. I am still trying various angles and intensities of IR.

Rob, that is a great idea.  Tony explained it to me in great detail, however, I still have my doubts that each and every time  a TV comes on "by itself" that it would have to do with the IR camera(s).  I was a child in the 1960's, living in an old haunted house and getting up in the morning to find electrical equipment turned "on" was a common occurrence for us.  This was one of the reasons my mother bought an electric stove and got rid of the gas stove.  I'd love to delve deeper into this question.

Great idea Rob!  Hey Tony! How about reposting your observations so we can review and talk about some ideas for researching?  Would be interesting to see what we come up with!

I propose that we do various tests on those things we have noticed, or rather Tony noticed. Tony, I would like to do the IR  television activation if possible.

I love story tellers.  They bring back a sense of the past into the present and remind us of what it was like "way back when".  We met Jerry Cowling at the the Hill House Bed & Breakfast on August 7th, when we returned to Brooksville for another investigation in the the historic district.  Once a month, he graces the Hill House B&B and guests with his stories of the past.

OPS-FL has been informed that Mr. Cowling will be using some of the evidence we uncovered in our investigation at the Hill House as well as whatever we uncover from the historic residence to create historic stories about the area.  I personally, am thrilled to know this.  Especially because what we do goes hand in hand with history.

Brooksville, FL has welcomed us with open arms and I believe we are beginning to establish some valuable friendships in the area.  We will be retuning to Brooksville to not only to visit, but to become part of their history.

UPDATE ON THE GHOST KITTY:
While we still have not been able to capture our ghost kitty on film or with any meter, we know he's still around.  A few days ago I was sitting at my computer when I heard a "romping" sound coming up behind me.  I looked around expecting to see one of our other cats and quickly realized that both cats were within viewing range of me and no where near the area I heard the sound coming from.  I turned around to continue my task, and heard it again.  Again, I turned around to see nothing.  Tony then came through the house and I asked him if he had been anywhere near the area and he said he had not been there.  The cats started acting unnerved as well.

We continue to hear noises and experience light touches when we know it's not the real cats.  They get nervous and start running around when they sense the ghost kitty.  I can tell that they can see him because they stare off into a corner or a piece of furniture, when there's nothing there.

I'm still on my mission and one day, I'm gonna catch him.  I just have to figure out how.  Smiley
